DFW grew outward faster than any metro in the country. The map pack moved with it.

0conversions from one Texas law firm’s search account, 4.51M impressions, 172K clicks

Toyota, Charles Schwab, JPMorgan and dozens of other headquarters moved to Plano, Frisco and the Legacy corridor; thousands of families moved with them; and McKinney, Prosper, Celina and Little Elm filled in behind. Google’s local results track that migration precisely: a search for “orthodontist near me” from Frisco shows Frisco practices, and a Dallas practice with a downtown profile and one “Dallas” page is not among them. The same is true in reverse for Fort Worth, Arlington and Mansfield, which have never searched Dallas for anything.

The arriving families search like newcomers everywhere: a dentist, a pediatrician, an AC company, a church and a school-adjacent everything in the first month, often in Spanish, increasingly through an AI assistant. The businesses that win them have a page for the suburb the family moved to, reviews from neighbors, and a profile whose service area says so.

aStash builds Dallas SEO around the corridors where DFW lives now: a Google Business Profile with service areas drawn around the suburbs you serve, suburb pages written with real detail in English and Spanish, reviews that name the suburb, citations and links from DFW sources, newcomer and hail-season content timed to the calendar, and the structured facts that get ChatGPT and Google AI to name your business. Two Texas law firms on this plan hold an 81% share of local voice and 21,400 conversions respectively; the screenshots are on this page.

Why it is hard

Why Dallas businesses struggle to get found

DFW businesses that are invisible in local search usually share the same mistakes.

How we do it

Six steps that get a Dallas business found

Move the profile to where the customers are, build the suburb pages, then follow the DFW calendar.

Week 1

Audit from the suburbs

Map-pack position checked from Plano, Frisco, Irving, Arlington and Fort Worth, not downtown Dallas; profile, citations, reviews, Spanish presence, site speed, competitors, and what AI assistants say when someone in each suburb asks for a provider.

Week 1 – 2

Profile and tracking

Service areas redrawn around the corridors you serve; categories, description and both-language fields corrected; call and form tracking live; Core Web Vitals fixed.

Weeks 2 – 8

Suburb pages

A page per suburb with real detail, in English and Spanish where needed, with schema, linked from the navigation and service pages.

Months 2 – 3

Reviews and DFW listings

Review workflow connected to your software with suburb prompts; citations corrected; chamber, association and ISD partner listings added.

Months 2 – 12

Seasonal content and links

Hail, heat and freeze pages a month ahead; newcomer guides; links from sponsorships, associations and DFW press, every month, because DFW competitors never stop.

Every month

Report by suburb

Map position by suburb, calls and forms from search by suburb and language, reviews earned, AI mentions.

Downtown Dallas skyline by day
0afternoon in which a hail storm decides a roofer’s season

DFW search

Hail season decides a Dallas roofer’s year, and the search starts before the storm ends

North Texas gets hit by hail every spring, and within hours of a storm the searches for “roof repair near me”, “hail damage roofer Frisco” and “storm damage contractor McKinney” spike from the exact suburbs the storm crossed. The roofers in the map pack for those suburbs that afternoon book the season. The rest chase storm-chaser competitors for weeks.

The same pattern runs through DFW home services: the first hundred-degree day for HVAC, the first freeze for plumbers. The plan publishes the seasonal page a month ahead, builds the suburb pages it points to, and has the reviews in place before the storm.

  1. Seasonal pages a month aheadHail, first heat, first freeze, each pointing to suburb pages
  2. Suburb pages that already existFrisco, McKinney, Plano, Arlington, each with real detail
  3. Reviews that name the suburb“Replaced our roof in Prosper after the April hail” ranks
  4. Profile service areas drawn around the storm pathWhere you actually work, not a circle

Service area

Dallas neighborhoods and DFW suburbs we build pages and map-pack presence for

Your service area decides the pages. A business that works the whole Metroplex gets area pages for each suburb it serves; a single-location practice gets its neighborhood and the ones around it.

Everything you need to know

Dallas SEO: what makes it different, and what we do about it

The metro moved north and west

Collin and Denton counties added more residents in a decade than most American cities hold, and corporate headquarters moved with them. A Dallas business whose profile, pages and reviews still point downtown is optimised for a metro that no longer exists. Redrawing the service area and building the suburb pages is the first and largest gain in DFW local search.

Fort Worth is not Dallas

Tarrant County has its own downtown, its own map packs and its own customers who do not search Dallas for anything. A business that serves both sides of the Metroplex needs separate pages, reviews and service areas for each, and the “DFW” keyword most agencies sell is searched by agencies, not by customers.

Weather sets the calendar

Hail in spring, triple digits in summer, hard freezes in winter: North Texas home services run on a weather calendar, and the searches spike from the suburbs the storm or the heat wave crossed. Pages published a month ahead, pointing to suburb pages that already exist, take the first wave every year.

What AI assistants need from a Dallas business

When a family that just moved to Frisco asks ChatGPT or Google AI for a dentist, in English or Spanish, the answer is built from profiles with the right service areas, reviews that name the suburb, and pages with real local detail. Consistent facts and specific suburb pages are what get a business named. We track the answer monthly for the suburbs you serve.

How to judge Dallas SEO results

Dallas SEO results are easy to fake with vanity metrics: impressions, keyword counts, domain scores. The numbers that matter to a Dallas business are calls, booked appointments, quote requests and the share of local search you hold against the competitors down the street. Every Dallas SEO agency on your shortlist should be able to show those numbers from a real client. Ours are on this page, with the screenshots behind them, and the same report format is what you receive every month, alongside reputation management and the internet marketing channels that feed it.

Where you must be listed

The Dallas directories and sources that decide local rankings and AI answers

Where DFW customers check a business and where Google and AI assistants read. Name, address, phone and hours must match on every one.

Free audit

What the free Dallas SEO audit checks

Free, about a week, and the first month’s task list if you go ahead.

  • Map-pack position checked from Plano, Frisco, Irving, Arlington and Fort Worth
  • Google Business Profile service areas: a circle or the corridors you serve
  • Categories, description, photos, posts and both-language fields
  • Citations on DFW and industry sources: present and consistent
  • Reviews: count, rating, recency, replies, languages, whether the suburb is named
  • Suburb pages: present, with real detail, in both languages where needed
  • Fort Worth and Tarrant County: separate presence or not
  • Seasonal pages: present and published early
  • Site speed and Core Web Vitals on a phone
  • Competitors in each suburb’s map pack and what they publish each month
  • Links from DFW sources
  • Whether AI assistants name you for a question asked from each suburb

Dallas SEO FAQ

Straight answers before you call.

Anything else? (970) 399-9004 reaches a person in Fort Collins, not a call center.

Where is aStash located?

Fort Collins, Colorado. We have run SEO for Texas businesses for years, including two Texas law firms whose results are on this page, and we work with DFW clients by video and phone with the account, site and profile shared.

We are in Dallas proper. Should we still build suburb pages?

If you serve the suburbs and want calls from them, yes. Google ranks a Frisco search with Frisco pages, and the customers moved there. The downtown presence stays; the suburb pages are added.

Do you cover Fort Worth?

Yes, as its own market. Fort Worth, Arlington and Tarrant County get their own pages, reviews and profile service areas because their map packs are separate from Dallas’s.

How long does Dallas SEO take?

Redrawing the service area shows in the map pack within 30 to 60 days. Suburb pages often rank within two to four months. Competitive categories such as personal injury, aesthetics and roofing across the Metroplex build over six to twelve months and need sustained work to hold.

Do I need Spanish pages?

If your customers search in Spanish, yes. A third of Dallas households speak Spanish at home. Spanish pages are written for search, not machine-translated.

What does SEO cost in Dallas?

A flat monthly rate fixed after the free audit, no contract. DFW law, aesthetics and home services are competitive enough that the plan is larger than in smaller markets; the audit gives you the number and the reasoning before you commit.

Can you work with our competitors?

No. One client per category per service area, so the work is never split between two businesses competing for the same map pack.

What results have you had in Texas?

Vega & Associates holds an 81% share of local voice for “immigration attorney” across a 13×13 grid of its metro. Herrera Law Firm counted more than 2,000 calls in a year from Google Maps alone. A Texas law firm’s Google Ads account produced 21,400 conversions from 4.51 million impressions. The screenshots are on this page.

Is there an aStash office near Dallas?

Our nearest office is in Houston at 2323 S Voss Rd, #640, Houston, TX 77057, phone (713) 955-7240, open Mon – Fri, 9 AM – 5 PM, with in-person meetings by appointment. Headquarters is at 19 Old Town Square, Ste 238, Fort Collins, CO 80524. Most of the work happens in your Google Business Profile, your site and the shared account, so the office is for meetings, not a requirement.
