Search Engine Optimization can play a significant role in improving the overall status of a client’s website. For a business such as a law firm, a good domain rating reflects well on credibility. When organic searches lead users to such a client’s website, that credibility translates into business contacts. We worked with our client, a Houston -based immigration attorney, to achieve that very goal.

A good domain rating reflects well on a client’s reputability, particularly in a field such as law. Historically, our client had not enjoyed a high domain rating. In a relatively short time, we were able to make drastic improvements.

As part of our strategy, we worked to increase the number of referring domains and URLs to our client’s website.

As we improve on domain rating and organic traffic, we raise the site’s overall traffic value (the equivalent we would need in paid advertising to achieve the same results).

Results
For a client in a specialized field, we want to ensure that increased traffic is in line with our goal of generating quality business contacts. Indeed, a year-over-year comparison for our work in 2020 and 2021 revealed improvement in that regard:

Business contacts improved across the board. We can further corroborate these improvements by looking at location listings. Since our client operates locally, we can see an increase in local interest reflected in maps and search listings.
Looking at the longer time preiod we included all the calls made from Google Business Profile from 2020 to 2023 with around 60-70% year over year growth. With 2 years of substantial growth client was not able to take on more clients that we were bringing and had selected our SEO maintainence services for 2023.
Finally, we can see how contact inquiries increased over time. These inquiries represent the outreach of prospective customers toward our client, and are one of the most substantial indicators of SEO driving conversion.
