Ecommerce PPC

Shopping ads that show the right product at the right price to the right buyer

Ecommerce paid search runs on your product feed. When the feed is clean and the campaigns are structured around margin, Shopping, Performance Max and retargeting turn ad spend into orders you can measure to the penny.

The short version01

Your product feed is the campaign. Everything else is settings.

Most ecommerce ad accounts underperform for one reason: the feed. Missing GTINs, generic titles, wrong categories and stale prices mean Google cannot match your products to the searches that convert. We rebuild the feed first, then structure campaigns by margin and intent so the budget goes to products that make money.

For a 25-year-old retail store, remarketing, Display, YouTube and Performance Max campaigns brought cost per click from $4 to under a dollar, cost per conversion to $18.32 and delivered 391% more conversions, several of the best months in the store’s history. For Brown Interiors, Google Ads produced 6.34K clicks from 2.02M impressions at an $0.08 cost per click.

Management is a flat monthly rate, never a percentage of your ad spend, so our incentive is your return, not your budget.

How we run it

Campaigns structured by margin, not by whatever Google suggests

A default Shopping or Performance Max campaign spends the budget on whatever sells easiest, which is usually the cheapest, lowest-margin product. We split campaigns by product margin and purchase intent, so the budget goes to the items that make you money and the bids follow the shopper’s stage.

Retargeting follows the people who viewed a product or left a cart, with frequency caps so the brand does not become annoying. New-customer campaigns prospect on Display and YouTube, and every campaign reports orders and return on ad spend, not clicks.

Campaign Types

Four campaign types, one return-on-ad-spend target

Each campaign has a job. Together they cover discovery, intent, comparison and the shopper who almost bought.

Google Shopping

Product listing ads with image, price and rating. Structured by product group and margin so bids match what each product can afford.

Performance Max

Google’s automated campaign across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display and Gmail, fed with real conversion values, audience signals and creative that fits the brand.

Search campaigns

Exact and phrase-match keywords for category and product searches that Shopping does not cover, plus brand protection.

Retargeting

Dynamic ads that show the exact products a visitor viewed or carted across Display, YouTube and Meta, with frequency caps and purchase exclusions.

Scope

Management scoped to your catalog and budget

No prices listed here because every store’s catalog, margin and spend are different. We quote a flat monthly rate after a free account review.

Why aStash

A flat fee, your own account, and reporting you can read

Agencies that charge a percentage of ad spend earn more when you spend more. We charge a flat monthly rate, so the only way we do better is when your return improves. The Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts are yours, in your name, from day one.

Reporting shows orders, revenue, cost per order and return on ad spend by campaign and by product group, every month, with the changes we made and why. For a retail client that produced 391% more conversions and several record sales months.

Feed Checklist

Twelve things we fix in the product feed first

A clean feed lowers cost per click, raises impression share and gives automation good data to learn from.

  • GTIN, MPN and brand populated for every product
  • Titles rewritten front-loaded with product type, brand, key attribute and size
  • Google product category mapped to the most specific node
  • Product type attribute mirrors your store navigation
  • Price, sale price and availability synced in near real time
  • Shipping and tax settings match what checkout actually charges
  • Image links point to clean, high-resolution product photos
  • Custom labels for margin tier, best sellers, seasonality and clearance
  • Variants (size, colour) grouped with item_group_id
  • Disapprovals and warnings in Merchant Center resolved
  • Product ratings and promotions feeds connected
  • Supplemental feed for optimized titles without touching the store catalog

FAQ

Straight answers before you call.

Anything else? (970) 399-9004 reaches a person in Fort Collins, not a call center.

What budget do I need for ecommerce PPC?

Enough to generate roughly 30 to 50 conversions a month so Google’s bidding can learn. For most stores that is a few thousand dollars a month in ad spend, but it depends on your average order value and margin. We tell you honestly after a free review.

Is Performance Max better than standard Shopping?

It depends on the account. Performance Max reaches more placements and automates more, but it needs accurate conversion values and good creative. We often run both and shift budget to whichever returns more.

Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?

No. Management is a flat monthly rate, so we are never rewarded for spending more of your money.

Who owns the ad account?

You do. We work inside your Google Ads, Merchant Center and Meta accounts as managers. If you ever leave, everything stays with you.

How do you track orders?

Conversion tracking with order values through Google Tag Manager, Shopify or WooCommerce integrations and, where needed, server-side tracking so reports reflect real revenue, not estimates.

Can you also fix my product pages?

Yes. Ecommerce optimization is part of the same team, so when ads reveal a landing page problem, we fix the page rather than just reporting the bounce rate.
