Link Building

Authority you can show Google, link by link.

Links are still how Google decides which of two good pages ranks higher. aStash earns them from real websites with real readers, through guest content, local relationships, press and outreach, and reports every link with its source and metrics. No networks, no shortcuts, no surprises in the next algorithm update.

The short version01

The right links move rankings. The wrong links get a site penalized.

Every page that ranks in the top 3 for a competitive term has links pointing to it from other websites. Google reads them as votes, weighted by the authority and relevance of the site that linked. Earning them is slow, manual work, which is why most agencies either skip it or buy from link networks that Google eventually catches.

aStash builds links the way a publicist would. We pitch guest articles to industry sites that accept them editorially, distribute press releases about real news, secure listings and sponsorships from local organizations, and find broken links on relevant pages that our clients’ content can replace. Each link is checked for traffic, relevance and indexing before we count it.

The ranking climbs on this page come from campaigns like that: a Denver plumbing company that went from a new domain to 845 ranking keywords, and a Colorado law firm holding 1,045 #1 positions.

The problem

Bought links are cheap, fast and eventually fatal.

Link networks, forum spam and paid placements on sites nobody reads can lift a ranking for a few months and then take the whole site down in one update. We inherit those clean-ups more often than we would like.

aStash earns links the way a publicist does: real articles pitched to sites in your industry, press about real news, sponsorships and memberships in your community, and replacements for links competitors have let break.

FAQ

Straight answers before you call.

Anything else? (970) 399-9004 reaches a person in Fort Collins, not a call center.

How many links do I need?

It depends on the gap between you and the sites in the top 3 for your keywords. We measure that gap in the audit and size the package to close it, usually between five and twenty quality links a month.

Are your links safe?

Yes. Every link comes from a site with real traffic and editorial control, with natural anchor text. We never use networks, automated placements or sites that sell links openly.

Do you buy links?

No. Some placements involve a legitimate cost such as a sponsorship, a membership or a press distribution fee, and those are disclosed. We do not pay sites to insert links into existing content.

Can you remove bad links from my profile?

Yes. The backlink audit flags toxic links, we request removal where possible and submit a disavow file to Google for the rest.

How long until links affect rankings?

Google typically credits a new link within a few weeks of indexing it. Ranking movement on competitive terms builds over two to four months as links accumulate.

Do I own the content you write for guest posts?

The host site publishes it under their terms, as with any guest article. Content assets built on your own site are yours.
