Logo Design

A logo you will still like in ten years

A logo is the one piece of design every customer sees: on the sign, the site, the invoice, the van. We design marks that are simple enough to read at favicon size, distinctive enough to remember, and built on a real reason, not a trend.

The short version01

Good logos come from a brief, not a mood board.

Before a single sketch, we learn what your business does better than the alternatives, who it serves and where the logo will live. A plumbing company needs a mark that reads on a truck door at forty miles an hour. A boutique florist needs one that sits beautifully on a ribbon. The answers shape the concept, the shapes and the type.

You receive three genuinely different directions, not three colours of the same idea. We refine the one you choose with as many rounds as it takes, test it in black and white, at tiny sizes and on dark backgrounds, then deliver every file format your printer, web developer and sign shop will ever ask for.

aStash has designed identities for retailers, law firms, contractors, restaurants and startups since 2017. Logo projects are priced flat, agreed up front, with no hourly surprises.

How we design

Three real directions, tested where the logo will live

A logo that looks good on a presentation slide can fail on a truck door, a favicon or an embroidered polo. So we never show a mark on a white page alone. Each direction is presented on a sign, a business card, a phone screen and a social avatar, with the reasoning behind the shape and the type.

Every mark is drawn as vector, checked in one colour, reversed on dark backgrounds and reduced to sixteen pixels before you see it. If it does not survive those tests, it does not make the presentation.

  • Presented in contextsign, card, phone and avatar, never a mark floating on white
  • One-colour and reversedtested in black, white and on your darkest background
  • Readable at 16 pixelsif the favicon fails, the concept is cut

Files You Receive

Everything in the final package

Organized by use so you never have to ask a designer for the right version again.

Master vector files

AI, EPS, SVG and PDF of the full logo, the mark alone and the wordmark alone, infinitely scalable for signs, vehicles and print.

Colour variants

Full colour, one-colour black, one-colour white and reversed versions for dark backgrounds, each in every format.

Web and screen files

PNG with transparent backgrounds at multiple sizes, optimized SVG for websites, favicon set and app icon sizes.

Social media kit

Square and circular avatar crops for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile, plus a cover image template.

Colour and type specification

Exact hex, RGB, CMYK and Pantone values and the typefaces used, so printers and web developers match the logo precisely.

One-page usage guide

Minimum sizes, clear space, approved backgrounds and the things not to do, so the logo stays consistent as the team grows.

What you receive

Files your printer, developer and sign shop can use today

The project ends with a complete package, not a single PNG. You receive the master vector files, colour variants, reversed versions, favicon and app icon sizes, social avatars and a one-page usage guide that keeps the mark consistent when someone else applies it.

aStash has designed identities for plumbers, law firms, retailers, restaurants and startups since 2017, and the same team applies the logo to your website, print and social content. Logo projects are priced flat and agreed before the first sketch.

Why Not a Contest or a Generator

Process

Three steps from brief to final files

A fixed sequence with your approval at each stage, usually three to four weeks end to end.

01Week 1

Discovery and research

A one-hour brief call, a look at your competitors and your industry’s visual conventions, and a short creative brief you sign off before design begins.

02Weeks 2–3

Three concepts

Three distinct directions presented in context: on a sign, a business card, a phone screen and a social avatar, with the reasoning behind each.

03Week 4

Refinement and delivery

Your chosen concept refined through unlimited revisions, tested for legibility and contrast, then delivered as a complete file package with a one-page usage guide.

FAQ

Straight answers before you call.

Anything else? (970) 399-9004 reaches a person in Fort Collins, not a call center.

How long does a logo take?

Three to four weeks for most projects: a week of research and brief, two weeks for concepts and presentation, and a final week for refinement and file delivery. Rush timelines are possible if the brief is ready.

How many concepts and revisions do I get?

Three distinct concepts. On the one you choose, revisions are unlimited until you are happy. If none of the three works, we go back to the brief together rather than guessing.

Will I own the logo?

Yes. Full rights transfer to you on final payment, and the mark is original so you can register it as a trademark. We do not use stock icons or templates.

What files will I get?

Vector (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF), raster (PNG, JPG) in every colour variant, favicon and app icons, social avatars and a specification sheet with exact colours and fonts.

Can you redesign or refresh my existing logo?

Yes. A refresh keeps the recognition you have built while fixing legibility, dated details or missing file formats. We tell you honestly whether a refresh or a new mark is the better call.

How is it priced?

A flat project price quoted before work starts, based on the scope you choose. No hourly billing and no surprise charges for file formats.
