Ecommerce Web Design

Online stores designed to turn browsers into orders

A store is not a brochure with a cart bolted on. Product pages, search, filters, checkout and shipping all have to work together, on a phone, in under three seconds. We design and build WooCommerce and Shopify stores that do.

Built for catalogs of ten products or forty thousand

0products on one store we built

Brown Interiors sells more than 40,000 products through a WooCommerce store we designed and built, with speed scores above 70% and a Google Ads cost per click of eight cents on top of it. The same approach scales down to a boutique with a dozen items: fast pages, clear product information, a checkout that does not get in the way.

Every ecommerce build starts with how your customers shop. Do they search or browse? Do they compare variants? Do they buy on a phone during a lunch break? The answers decide the category structure, the filters, the product page layout and how many steps checkout has.

Then we build it on the platform that fits: WooCommerce when you want full ownership and WordPress content alongside the store, Shopify when you want hosted simplicity and a large app ecosystem.

The problem we design around

Stores lose most sales between the product page and the receipt

Shoppers arrive, find the product and still leave: shipping shown too late, a variant picker that does not work on a phone, a checkout that asks for an account before it asks for a card. Every one of those is a design decision.

We design the store from the product page backwards. Clear variants, prices and delivery promises up front, a cart that updates without reloading, and a checkout short enough to finish during a lunch break.

What an aStash Store Includes

Six things that separate a store that sells from one that sits

Product pages that answer questions

Photos, variants, specs, shipping times, reviews and related products arranged in the order shoppers need them.

Search and filters that work

Shoppers who use site search convert at several times the rate of those who browse. We make search fast and filters useful.

Fast on mobile

Image compression, lazy loading and lean code keep product pages under three seconds on a phone, where most store traffic lands.

Checkout with fewer exits

Guest checkout, address autocomplete, wallet payments and a clear order summary. Every extra field costs orders.

Payments, shipping, tax configured

Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, live shipping rates, tax rules and order emails set up and tested before launch.

SEO and tracking built in

Product schema, clean category URLs, Merchant Center feed and conversion tracking in Google Analytics 4 and Ads.

Checkout Checklist

Fourteen things we check on every store before launch

Most abandoned carts are caused by friction that is easy to remove.

  • Guest checkout available without creating an account
  • Total cost including shipping shown before the final step
  • Address autocomplete and saved details
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal alongside cards
  • Progress indicator on multi-step checkout
  • Error messages that say what to fix
  • Cart persists across devices and sessions
  • Discount code field does not distract from paying
  • Trust signals near the pay button
  • Mobile keyboard types match each field
  • Order confirmation page and email tested
  • Abandoned cart email flow connected
  • Checkout loads in under two seconds
  • Live shipping rates and delivery estimates

What you get

A store that fits your catalog and your operations

For Brown Interiors we built a WooCommerce store carrying more than 40,000 products from several vendors, with speed scores above 70% despite the catalog size, and it still ran Google Ads at an $0.08 cost per click.

Your build is sized to your business: WooCommerce when you want full ownership and content alongside the store, Shopify when you want hosted simplicity. Either way, payments, tax, shipping rules and inventory are set up and tested before launch.

FAQ

Straight answers before you call.

Anything else? (970) 399-9004 reaches a person in Fort Collins, not a call center.

WooCommerce or Shopify, which should I choose?

WooCommerce if you want to own the platform, run content and store together and avoid monthly platform fees. Shopify if you want hosted simplicity and do not need deep customization. We build both and will recommend one after a call.

Can you migrate my existing store?

Yes. Products, customers, orders and reviews can be migrated from Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, Wix and others, with redirects so your rankings carry over.

How long does an ecommerce site take?

Six to twelve weeks depending on catalog size and integrations. Product data quality is usually the biggest factor.

Do you handle payments and shipping set-up?

Yes. Stripe, PayPal, wallets, live shipping rates, tax and order emails are configured and tested as part of every build.

Will the store be fast with a large catalog?

Yes. Brown Interiors runs 40,000+ products with 70%+ speed scores. Large catalogs need indexing, caching and image handling planned from the start, which we do.

Can you also market the store after launch?

Yes. Ecommerce SEO, Google Shopping and social ads are run by the same team that built the store, so tracking and feeds are already in place.
