SEO Audits

Find out exactly why you rank where you do.

An SEO audit from aStash is a diagnosis, not a printout. We examine the sixteen things that decide rankings, compare each one with the sites above you and hand you a list of fixes in the order they will move the needle. Use it with us or with anyone else.

The short version01

Tools list hundreds of issues. An audit tells you which five matter.

Any crawler will give you a few hundred warnings. That is not an audit. An audit answers the question an owner actually has: why does my competitor outrank me, and what do I do first? Answering it means looking at technical health, content quality, on-page targeting, link authority, local signals and now AI assistant visibility together, against the specific sites that beat you.

aStash has audited hundreds of sites since 2017, and we use the findings ourselves to produce the results on this page. The report is written in plain English for an owner, with an appendix for whoever implements it. Each fix carries an impact estimate, an effort estimate and a reason.

The free initial audit covers the essentials. The full audit goes page by page and keyword by keyword, and comes with a call to walk through it.

The problem

Two hundred warnings is not an answer.

Free tools produce long red lists that treat a missing alt tag and a broken canonical as equals. Owners either ignore the whole thing or spend weeks on items that change nothing.

An aStash audit starts from the question you actually have: why does a competitor outrank you, and what should be done first? We compare your site to theirs on content, authority, technical health and local signals, and rank the gaps by the leads they cost.

FAQ

Straight answers before you call.

Anything else? (970) 399-9004 reaches a person in Fort Collins, not a call center.

What is the difference between the free audit and the full audit?

The free audit checks the essentials: rankings, technical health, Core Web Vitals, your Business Profile and whether AI assistants mention you, with a short list of fixes. The full audit covers all sixteen areas page by page and includes a written plan and a walkthrough call.

How much does a full SEO audit cost?

A flat fee based on the size of the site and the number of locations, quoted after the free audit. If you go on to an aStash SEO plan, the audit fee is credited.

Do I need to give you access to my website?

No. Read-only access to Search Console and Analytics is enough. We crawl the site from the outside like Google does.

Can my own developer implement the plan?

Yes. The report is written for that. Each fix includes the affected URLs and the specific change, and we are available for questions.

How often should a site be audited?

A full audit once a year, with quarterly technical re-crawls. aStash SEO plans include both.

Do you audit ecommerce and large sites?

Yes. Large catalogs get crawl-budget, faceted navigation and product schema analysis in addition to the standard checks.

Start with the free audit. There is no obligation.
